Normal Delivery
The driver marks the shipment as Delivered and captures proof of delivery (signature or photo). This is a terminal status — the shipment is complete.
Failed Delivery

Driver Marks Exception
If the delivery cannot be completed (recipient not home, wrong address, refused, etc.), the driver marks the shipment as Exception and enters the reason.

Admin Reviews Exception
The admin receives a notification and reviews the exception in the Shipments module.

Admin Decides Next Action
The admin chooses one of the following actions:
- Retry — Change status back to In Transit for the driver to reattempt delivery.
- Hold — Set status to On Hold while awaiting further instructions from the customer.
- Return — Initiate a return process to send the package back to the sender.
