Two Assignment Methods
| Method | Description |
|---|---|
| Manual Assignment | Go to Dispatch, view the map with driver locations, and drag shipments from the right panel onto a driver. A manifest is created for each driver. |
| Auto-Optimize | Click Auto-Optimize and the Genetic Algorithm groups shipments by city, assigns them to drivers balancing workload, and creates manifests automatically. |

Navigate to Dispatch
Open the Dispatch module. The map displays active driver locations and the right panel shows unassigned shipments.

Review Unassigned Shipments
The right panel lists all shipments awaiting dispatch, grouped by destination area. Review volumes and priorities.

Choose Assignment Method
Either drag shipments manually to drivers on the map, or click Auto-Optimize to let the algorithm handle distribution.

Confirm Assignments
Review the proposed assignments and confirm. Each driver receives a manifest with their assigned deliveries.

Status Updates Applied
All assigned shipments move to In Transit and manifests are set to Dispatched. Drivers are notified.
