Deprixa Plus — Warehouse & Inventory · Tips
- Use barcode scanners for speed: USB or Bluetooth barcode scanners dramatically speed up the reception process. The scan field auto-submits on barcode input.
- Set up locations before receiving: Define your shelf/bin structure in the Locations section before you start receiving packages. This ensures stock movements are recorded with proper location data from day one.
- Monitor low-stock alerts: Set minimum stock levels on frequently used items to receive automatic warnings when inventory drops below the threshold.
- Close manifests before dispatch: Always close a manifest before the driver departs. This prevents accidental additions and creates a clean handoff record.
- Use manifest PDF as proof of handoff: Print the manifest PDF and have both warehouse staff and driver sign it. This creates a physical record of the shipment transfer.
