The reception workflow handles incoming packages arriving at your warehouse. Packages are identified by tracking number — either scanned via barcode or entered manually.

Go to Warehouse → Receive

Navigate to Logistics → Warehouse → Receive in the sidebar. The reception screen opens with a barcode input field in focus.

Scan Barcode or Enter Tracking Number

Use a barcode scanner to scan the package label, or type the tracking number manually into the input field. Press Enter to look up the shipment.

System Looks Up the Shipment

The system searches for the matching shipment record and displays its details (sender, receiver, service type, current status). The shipment status is automatically updated to reflect warehouse reception.

Pre-Alert Linkage

If the received package is linked to a pre-alert, the system automatically marks the pre-alert as Received. The pre-alert detail page updates to show the reception timestamp and the warehouse employee who processed it.

Continuous Scanning

After each successful scan, the input field clears and re-focuses automatically so you can scan the next package without clicking. A success or error toast notification appears briefly for each scan result.
