- Assign drivers by proximity: When choosing a driver, consider their current location and other scheduled pickups. The driver dropdown shows location data to help with this decision.
- Include special instructions: Always note gate codes, floor numbers, or parking instructions in the Special Instructions field. This saves the driver time and phone calls on arrival.
- Use evidence photos: Encourage drivers to upload photos of collected packages. This provides proof of collection and documents the package condition at the time of pickup.
- Schedule from shipment detail: When a shipment already exists, start the pickup creation from the shipment detail page. This pre-fills the shipment reference and saves data entry time.
- Monitor unconfirmed pickups: Review the pickup list regularly for pickups stuck in Assigned or Notified status. Follow up with drivers who have not confirmed within a reasonable time.
