Deprixa Plus — Customers · Tips
- Complete addresses save time later: The more complete a customer's address, the more accurately the system can auto-fill shipment forms and calculate shipping rates. Incomplete addresses (missing city) mean the system cannot determine the zone.
- Use frequent recipients: Encourage customers who ship to the same people regularly to save their recipients as contacts. This dramatically speeds up shipment creation.
- Import before going live: If migrating from a previous system, import all customers before creating shipments. This ensures shipments can be linked to the correct customer records.
- Share the self-registration link: Place your organization's registration URL on your website, email signatures, and social media. This reduces manual data entry and lets customers create their own portal accounts.
- Deactivate instead of delete: When a client relationship ends, deactivate the customer rather than deleting. This preserves the full shipment and billing history while removing the customer from active lists.
- Check for duplicates after import: After a bulk import, search for common names to verify there are no duplicate records. Duplicates can lead to split shipment histories and billing confusion.
