Deprixa Plus — Customer Portal — Lockers & Pre-Alerts · The Locker / Casillero Concept
The locker system follows the "casillero" model used by courier companies serving international shoppers. Here is how it works:
- 1Each customer receives a unique locker code (e.g., LOC-00001234) when they register or are created by an admin.
- 2The locker has an associated warehouse address (your facility) where packages are received on the customer's behalf.
- 3The customer gives this warehouse address to online stores (Amazon, eBay, etc.) as their shipping address, including their locker code as a reference.
- 4Packages arrive at your warehouse. Your team scans them, matches them to the customer using the locker code, and processes them for forwarding.
- 5The package is converted into a shipment and forwarded to the customer's final delivery address.
Common use case
A customer in Colombia wants to buy from a US online store that only ships within the US. They use their Deprixa locker address in Miami as the shipping address. When the package arrives at your Miami warehouse, you forward it to Colombia.
